We’ve just come thorough one of the colder Januarys, but now in February it’s time to start thinking about gardening in 2009. Shortly after Valentine’s Day this year’s garden seeds will be arriving at Natural Harvest. This year we will be featuring seeds from two companies: Seeds of Change and Garden City/Irish Eyes. Both of these companies are small, independent seed companies that “do not knowingly sell genetically modified seeds” and both do everything they can to make sure that all of their seeds are GMO free. So you can be sure that you are getting the best quality seeds from both of these companies.
All Seeds of Change seeds are organically grown, and almost all of the seeds from Garden City are also organically grown.
Later in the spring other garden items will be arriving such as organic fertilizer, onion and shallot sets, and seed potatoes. — Darrel Swenson
