As a new year dawns, we’re working on improving the energy efficiency of the store with new sliding glass doors.
Also at the front of the store, many of you might have noticed that our customer service counter was sliced in half over the holidays. This domain will now be occupied by special orders and a new feature: pre-packed bags of some of our most popular bulk items. Serious home cooks will appreciate the savings by buying flour, rice, oats and beans in larger quantities. This new department is open to member suggestion, too, so if we’re missing an obvious “big bag,” let us know. Buy in quantity, get a better break!
A note, too, about special ordering for those who aren’t already taking advantage of this deal for all customers: You can special order anything that we carry and many other products that we don’t carry. If you’re interested in ordering something we don’t carry on the shelf, you’ll be required to buy it by the case, and members will save 10% and non-members will save 5% off the retail price for all case purchases.
