Thanks to everyone who participated in the “Bring Your Own Bag” promotion we ran in October in celebration of National Co-op Month. Nearly 300 co-op shoppers entered the contest by bringing their own bags or coffee mugs to use in the store. Each winner received a $10 gift certificate to the co-op. Let’s keep remembering to bring your own bag. By now, everyone seems to have several reusable grocery bags, the hang-ups tend to come when we forget to bring the bag into the store. First, get it back out to the car after each shopping trip. Consider putting your bags in the front seat on shopping days. We’re always happy to see customers running back out to the car to grab their bags. So bring in that bag!
